- Simple turns with entries
- Variations with entries
C_ First approach of a variation : la Barida / Analysis and leading
EXTERIOR CONTRIBUTORS : several external professors intervene within the Institute, in France, to bring complementary views and styles on the studied techniques
WEEKS IN BUENOS AIRES
2 weeks of intensive study, practice and discovery of tango in the city
Obligatory pre-requisites: To have done the three weeks of course in Marseille
WORK PROGRAM :
A_ Total repeat of the work done at Marseille, insisting on the style, coordination and practice
B_ Application and adaptation of basic techniques
C_ Application of the achievements within the Milongas of Buenos Aires ***
D_ Continuation of the technical courses corresponding to an intermediate level ********
E_ Work specific to Milonga
F_ Work on the adaptation of dance and its interpretation, according to the music.
* The communication aspect and pedagogy are taught in 2nd and 3rd year, juridical notions in 3rd year
** The student must read a certain number of reference books
*** The student must commit to a certain number of observations during their visits within the Milongas and the areas in relation with Argentinean Tango in the city
**** The choice of the figures belongs to Hernan Villegas depending on the level of each group, giving that each year the standards of the final level will be the same at the end of the first five weeks. Tests will be done regularly, conditioning entry into the next year.
